Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience, with weekend shifts and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Schedule consists of 4x10-hour day shifts: Thursday–Friday 6:30 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Weekend shifts are required as part of the standard schedule
- No on-call requirements
- No floating to other units or sister facilities
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required; 2 years preferred
- Current NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification required
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable; pending state license accepted but must be obtained prior to start
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests made after submission will not be accommodated
- A pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation — candidates have one opportunity to pass
- Attendance policy is in effect: missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation
