Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of OB experience on night shifts.

Details

32-bed LDRP unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Cross-coverage required for postpartum (PP) and mother-baby (MB) care
On-call hours are required based on staffing needs, typically averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
Epic EMR experience is required
Local candidates are not accepted for this position

Requirements

Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications required: NRP, AWHONN or C-EFM, and FHM
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Epic EMR proficiency required
OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities span the full LDRP scope, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care, as well as mother-baby
Two professional references required for consideration
On-call obligations may alternatively be fulfilled by picking up one extra weekend shift and one extra weekday shift per schedule cycle
