Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(M) certification for a 13-week travel assignment performing a full range of mammography procedures including 3D, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localizations.
Details
- Mammography unit within a hospital setting
- Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
- Monday–Friday day shift, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required; 2 years highly preferred
- ARRT(M) and BLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Compact or NC license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Hands-on experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic and digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
- 1 supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a lower pay rate
- Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
- Orientations are held bi-weekly
- Wine-colored scrubs required
