Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Labor & Delivery for a night shift, 13-week travel contract at a community hospital and regional referral center in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Details
- LDRP unit within a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
- 8-bed unit serving childbearing-age women, including occasional gynecological surgery cases
- Common cases include normal L&D and normal newborn care
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
- Equipment includes GE monitors and Panda warmers
- EMR: OBTV/Medhost
- Night shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekend requirement: every 4th weekend
- Occasional floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AZ or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
- Experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Joint Commission accredited facility
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- Black scrubs required
- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ — close to Las Vegas (2.5 hrs), Phoenix (3.25 hrs), and the Grand Canyon (3.5 hrs)
