Description

American Traveler is hiring a traveling Occupational Therapist with lymphedema, manual therapy, and hand therapy experience for a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Michigan.

Details

  • Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
  • Patient diagnoses include lymphedema, cognitive evaluation/treatment, and other musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
  • Daily patient load of 10–11 patients
  • Primary patient population is adults; adolescent experience preferred
  • Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
  • No call or weekend requirements
  • Float requirement limited to covering other sites during low patient census
  • Epic EMR used

Requirements

  • Active Michigan OT state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Experience in lymphedema, manual therapy, and hand therapy required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide outpatient OT services including lymphedema management, cognitive evaluation and treatment, and musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation
  • May be asked to cover other clinic sites during periods of low patient census
