Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week ambulatory surgery center assignment in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 3 years of OR experience.
Details
- Ambulatory OR setting at a surgery center
- Day shift with variable start times between 0600 and 0930
- Monday through Friday schedule, weekdays only
- 5x8-hour shifts per week
- 32 to 40 hours per week depending on facility need
- Clinician must provide 5 days of availability (Monday–Friday) each week
- Epic EMR used at this facility
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Ambulatory OR setting experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation includes a virtual New Employee Orientation (NEO) on Monday (4 hours), required eLearnings completed during NEO, Epic training available bi-weekly on Fridays 0800–1300 (5 hours), and 1 unit orientation shift scheduled based on clinician availability — all virtual and online training must be completed before the unit orientation shift
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
