Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ICU position requiring at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and night shift availability including every third weekend.

Details

• 8-week travel assignment in a community hospital ICU setting
• 10-bed ICU unit
• Patient population includes critically ill adults presenting with medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Unit also manages acute stroke patients as part of a certified Primary Stroke Center with telestroke/tele-neurology services
• Some pediatric critical care cases may be encountered (stabilization and early illness management)
• Intensivists and hospitalists are on staff, with specialty services including cardiac and surgery
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required; MA RN license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• At least one completed travel assignment required; more than one preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
• All previous employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility must have a minimum 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• COVID vaccine and booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
