Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity, as well as to other units within the health system as needed
• Weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
• Utilizes Epic EMR (experience required)
• Telemetry monitoring and IV placement are required skills

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV start proficiency required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for at least 6 months
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to and built into the contract, with a maximum of 7 days
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet upon receipt
