Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Med/Surg unit in a regional hospital setting
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Med/Surg patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and care coordination including patient referrals as needed
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• BSN is preferred but not required
