Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to start
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, patient referrals, treatment plan monitoring, and documentation per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Experienced caregivers are strongly preferred
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract
