Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float Telemetry position requiring stepdown experience and the ability to support multiple units including ER hold, psych, and inpatient rehab.

Details

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Float position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Stepdown experience is required; critical care experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborates with the full healthcare team with a focus on evidence-based care within a healing culture
• Care is delivered through a Shared Governance model
• Facility conducts its own on-site drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
• This position is designated as safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
