Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an orthopedic clinic in Tampa, FL.

Details

  • Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting on the 2nd floor of a multi-suite facility
  • Orthopedic specialty unit serving adult patients including reconstructive, foot/ankle, spine, hand, and upper extremity cases
  • High-volume imaging environment with 50–70 x-rays per technologist per day across 16 exam rooms
  • Uses Sedecal imaging equipment, Epic EMR, and GE PACS
  • 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no weekend or call requirements
  • May be required to travel within the west region as part of float responsibilities
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology technologist experience
  • Current BLS (AHA only) and ARRT certification required
  • C-arm experience, including fluoroscopy for injections, is required
  • Orthopedic imaging experience strongly preferred
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (50-mile radius rule applies for candidates based in Alabama)
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Perform high-volume diagnostic imaging with a focus on orthopedic conditions including spine, joint, foot/ankle, and upper extremity
  • All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA); American Red Cross certifications are not accepted
  • Scrubs required; any color is acceptable
  • A collaborative work style is important for this team-oriented environment
