Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel assignment providing geriatric home health care on a Monday–Friday day schedule.
Details
- Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
- Covers a territory within a 50-mile radius of the hub/office
- Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Uses HCHB as the EMR system; experience is required
- Mileage between patient homes is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
- Active CA PT license required (pending licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with HCHB EMR required
- OASIS experience required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
