Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a 599-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital specializing in neurosurgery cases.

Details

• Inpatient, outpatient, and ER setting within a 599-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• All neurosurgery cases are performed at this facility, with a strong focus on neuro MRI imaging
• Daily caseload of 15–25 patients per tech
• Uses two 3-Tesla Siemens magnets (Trio and Skyra)
• Cerner EMR is used for charting
• 4x10 evening shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• On-call required — 2 call shifts per month
• Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
• No floating to sister facilities or within scope

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU settings required
• BLS, ARRT (Advanced), and FL state license required — license required if applicable
• Pending state license not accepted
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Knowledge of neuro exams including brain, perfusion, diffusion, vascular, and pre/post neurosurgery exams required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently required
