Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with Cerner proficiency and the ability to circulate and perform C-sections for a 13-week travel assignment in New Mexico.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room setting
- Average of 6–8 OR cases per day, with a 1:1 patient-to-provider ratio
- Case mix is approximately 96% GI Endoscopy and EGD, with additional Ortho, General Surgery, Podiatry, and OB/GYN cases
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Call required every 3rd day and every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- EMR: Cerner (experience required)
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Must be able to circulate in the OR
- Must be able to assist with C-sections
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

- Ability to stay late when patient care needs require it is expected
- A positive, can-do attitude is essential for success in this role
