Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma background.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- On-call responsibilities are required
- Weekend coverage required — travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Holiday coverage is required
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state currently in hand
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required, with a background in high-volume hospitals managing critical and fast-paced cases
- Strong OR skills with a high rating on the skills checklist
- Burn nursing experience preferred
