Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care Med/Surg position in Wichita, KS, working night shifts with every other weekend requirements.

Details

• Work setting is a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Cerner OneChart

Requirements

• Active RN license — KS or compact license required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• SSN and a US home address are required
• Required documents for consideration: skills checklist, 2 professional references (submitted separately), copies of certifications, license verification/Nursys, and a copy of your Driver's License
• Full SSN and full DOB are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Commitment to working both July 4th and Labor Day is required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
• MOAB De-Escalation Training required
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
