Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department contract in Wichita, KS, with a high volume of behavioral health patients and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

- Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
- Day shift: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Uses Cerner EHR
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact state currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
- CPI/MOAB High-Risk training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- Driver's license, two professional references, and copies of certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- Nursys license verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
- Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
