Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR experience and ARRT (R) certification for a fast-paced acute care hospital IR department in Washington state.
Details
- Fast-paced Interventional Radiology department supporting Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists at a 325-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Equipment includes Philips rooms (one biplane) and one GE Hybrid room
- Charting performed in Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- Active Washington State license required (pending license not accepted); license required if applicable
- IR/CV certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Additional Information
- Candidates must work as part of a well-rounded, experienced IR team
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — RTO requests made after submission may be denied
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB are required for consideration
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
