Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a combined Med/Surg and ED position requiring dual-unit competency on night shifts at a community hospital in Kansas.

Details

• Community hospital setting with a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Department unit
• Nurses are expected to carry a patient load on the medical/surgical floor as well as care for ED patients
• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Blocked scheduling (grouped shifts) will be accommodated as much as possible
• 13-week contract, with length negotiable

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• PALS preferred
• Experience in both Med/Surg and Emergency Department settings is required
• Minimum one year of RN experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Nurses must be prepared to transition between Med/Surg floor duties and ER patient care within the same shift
