Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level II Trauma facility in Winchester, TN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit at a 198-bed acute and skilled care facility with Level II Trauma designation
• 44-bed Medical Surgical unit serving patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed; must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
• Floating required as needed
• EMR: Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or compact) required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and HWC — AHA-issued certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear and hoodies are not permitted
