Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.
Details
- ICU setting within an acute care hospital in Birmingham, AL
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Alternating weekend requirement
- Cerner EMR used; experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Valid US driver's license required for consideration
- US Social Security Number required
- Candidate must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2+ years of recent ICU experience is required
