Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist (MFM) for a 13-week night shift contract in Austin, TX, requiring ARDMS certification and OB ultrasound experience.
Details
- Located in an acute care hospital's Imaging Services department on the first floor
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) focused ultrasound unit
- GE ultrasound equipment is used
- Meditech EMR
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday nights, 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM (4x10-hour shifts)
- On-call is required for this position
- Weekend work is required
Requirements
- ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in OB/MFM ultrasound, with active experience within the last 6 months
- OB ultrasound experience required
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- This is a travel position; local candidates will not be considered under any circumstances
- Technologist dress code: Olive Green top and Black pants
- One professional reference is required; candidates from Florida or Missouri must provide two references
