Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in Charlevoix, MI, requiring 2+ years of LTC experience and an active Michigan RN license.

Details

Long term care (LTC) setting
Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active Michigan RN license required
Minimum 2 years of RN long term care (LTC) experience required
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Additional Information

Provides patient care and treatment under the direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or team leader in alignment with established hospital methods and procedures
Demonstrates understanding of patient- and family-centered care principles
A strict 3-strike attendance policy is enforced: three instances of absence or tardiness of more than 20 minutes will result in immediate termination; exceptions may be made for communicable illness or hospitalization with supporting documentation
No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
Having MI LTC fingerprinting already completed is a plus
