Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and an active WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, EP lab procedures, STEMI response, biopsies (GI, GU/Renal), peripheral vascular interventions, and stent placement
• Required skills include blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket operation, 12-lead EKG acquisition, and syringe pump use
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–19:30
• Shift length may vary between 8 and 10 hours depending on staffing and scheduling needs
• On-call requirement of at least one weekday and one weekend per month, with potential for additional days and weekends
• Epic EMR experience required
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state of Washington

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff of any Providence/Swedish facility must have been separated for at least 3 months before being eligible and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; any requested time off should be disclosed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
