Description

American Traveler is hiring a Lead Cath Lab Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3+ years of cath lab experience, an Associate's degree, and active ARRT and Kentucky KBMIRT licensure.

  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
  • 4x10 hour day shifts with a call requirement
  • 40 hours per week

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab / procedural experience
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or a related field
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • ARRT Radiography (R) Certification required
  • Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License required if applicable
  • MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Serves as a lead technologist, coordinating daily patient flow including patients, staff, and physician scheduling
  • Assists with staff selection, onboarding, training, and competency assessment
  • Actively trains new employees on equipment functionality and lab procedures
  • Maintains employee relations, reinforces staff accountability, and participates in corrective action processes as needed
  • Provides leadership support to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and department manager
  • Operates with limited supervision, exercising professional judgment to ensure appropriate patient care and successful procedure completion
