Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Siemens scanner proficiency for a night shift position at an acute care hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Details
- Acute care hospital MRI unit with 2 Siemens 1.5T Aera scanners
- Procedures include neuro, MSK, abdominal, breast, enterography, and pacemaker patient scans
- ICU patients are scanned regularly using MRI-safe ventilator, IVAC, and monitoring equipment
- Conscious sedation is not performed at this facility
- Cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies, and MSK extremity scans are not performed in this unit
- Epic EMR in use
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Holiday coverage as assigned
- 3 weekday call shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered with strong Level I or large hospital background
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
- ARRT (MRI) or NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with IV starts strongly preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Cardiac MRI experience is a significant plus for this role
- Charcoal grey scrubs required
- Candidate's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
