Description
American Traveler is seeking a Stepdown/Intermediate Care RN for a dedicated Stroke Unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and night shift availability.
Details
- 13-week assignment in a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit
- Dedicated Stroke Unit with 30 beds
- 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
- Patient population includes Medical, DKA, Cardiac, GI, Renal, Sepsis, Trauma, and Surgery cases
- Night shift schedule, 18:45-07:15
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care for a high-acuity, multi-diagnosis stepdown population
- Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply that affects pay rate
- Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
- COVID vaccination is not required for this facility
