Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care night shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience and current IN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit serving as the dedicated Stroke Unit
• Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration

• Provides stepdown/intermediate care to a diverse patient population including stroke, cardiac, and surgical patients
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
