Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Cardiac Care Unit night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 48-bed Progressive Cardiac Care Unit within a hospital setting
- Unit specializes in Advanced Heart Care
- Care for a highly acute cardiac progressive patient population including heart failure, ACS/AMI, STEMI, post-cath, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, pre-surgical (VAD, transplant, CABG), pulmonary HTN, and cardiac drips
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on both day and night shifts
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address for consideration

- Unit is Joint Commission Certified for Advanced Heart Failure care

- Facility follows a radius rule that allows local candidates but may result in a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
