Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic Stepdown position requiring telemetry and surgical patient care expertise.
Details
- Work in the Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes post open heart, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resection, and pneumonectomy cases
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide specialized cardiac stepdown care to post-surgical cardiothoracic patients
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
- COVID vaccination is not required
