Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a night shift Cardiothoracic Stepdown position requiring 2+ years of surgical telemetry experience and an IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes post open heart, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resection, and pneumonectomy cases
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry-based nursing care to post-surgical cardiothoracic patients
- Facility follows a radius rule that allows local candidates at a reduced pay rate
- Radius distance varies by facility location
