Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift MICU position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Indianapolis, IN, requiring an active IN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.
Details
- Medical ICU (MICU) in a hospital critical care setting
- Level 1 Trauma Center with additional designations as a Stroke Center of Excellence, Burn Center, ELSO-certified center, and Transplant Center
- Standard patient ratio of 2:1
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage required based on unit need
- Charting system: Sunrise (Allscripts)
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Driver's License copy required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration

- 13-week contract
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the travel pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
- Full SSN and full date of birth are required for consideration
- COVID vaccination is not required
