Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro Stepdown/Trauma unit position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and NIH certification.
Details
- Neuro Trauma Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population is primarily neurological, including stroke, seizure, and TBI patients, with some medical and surgical overflow
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Holiday rotation required
Requirements
- Active IN or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Driver's license, copies of certifications, and license verification (Nursys) required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Local candidates are welcome to apply, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
