Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro Trauma Stepdown night shift position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring neuro experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- NeuroTrauma Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population is primarily neurological, including stroke, seizure, and TBI cases, with some medical and surgical overflow
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30
- 36 hours per week
- Holiday rotation required
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates living within the facility's radius may be eligible at a different pay rate
- Full SSN and date of birth will be required as part of the consideration process
- Skills checklist required for consideration
- Copies of certifications and license verification (Nursys within 30 days prior to start) required for consideration
- Any disciplinary actions on your license will require completion of a FACIS Questionnaire
