Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Pool Med/Surg Tele position requiring cardiac experience and a MA RN license, working nights on a 4x12 schedule.

Details

• Float pool position based out of the McCann unit, with placement across Med/Surg Tele and Tele units based on census and bed meeting needs
• Patient population includes medical, surgical, and observation patients across MS/Tele units
• A traveler may work in up to 2 different units within a single 12-hour shift depending on staffing needs
• Night shift schedule: 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2–3 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic or Cerner required

Additional Information

• Float pool staff is placed across units based on patient census and bed meeting assignments alongside nurses, PCAs, and OAs
• The facility uses the Avasure video monitoring system, which can monitor up to 12 patients simultaneously; staff assigned to the Avasure office must be relieved for breaks and meals
