Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Home Health position in Ponca City, OK, requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience with a minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience.

Details

Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day
Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday with the possibility of weekend visits (5x8-hour shifts, 8:00–17:00)
On-call responsibilities are required; details to be discussed during the interview
Travel territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the home hub/office
Charting performed using HCHB EMR; experience is required
An iPad is provided for use in the field

Requirements

Active RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent home health nursing experience required
OASIS experience required
HCHB EMR experience required
Must be flexible with assigned territory coverage

Additional Information

Provides skilled nursing visits to geriatric home health patients across an assigned territory
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
