Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a 431-bed Level II Trauma Center
- MRI department performs general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR imaging
- Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, patients requiring anesthesia or ventilator support, and those with conditional implants
- Daily caseload of 10–15 patients
- Charting via Epic; Philips iSite PACS system in use
- Schedule includes Fridays 5:00 AM–5:30 PM and Sat–Sun 9:30 AM–10:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Rotating on-call required, generally 1 weekday call per week and rotating Friday call; up to 2 days per week depending on staffing needs
- Holiday rotation required
- No floating to sister facilities required
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- ARRT certification required (VA state license not required; national ARRT certification is sufficient)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Some experience with Philips MRI equipment preferred
- Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform MRI imaging across general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac modalities
- Proficiency with Philips iSite PACS, document scanning, and Care Logistics software
- Caribbean blue scrubs required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO requests are accommodated at the manager's discretion
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
