Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a 431-bed Level II Trauma Center
• MRI department performs general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR imaging
• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, patients requiring anesthesia or ventilator support, and those with conditional implants
• Daily caseload of 10–15 patients
• Charting via Epic; Philips iSite PACS system in use
• Schedule includes Fridays 5:00 AM–5:30 PM and Sat–Sun 9:30 AM–10:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Rotating on-call required, generally 1 weekday call per week and rotating Friday call; up to 2 days per week depending on staffing needs
• Holiday rotation required
• No floating to sister facilities required
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• ARRT certification required (VA state license not required; national ARRT certification is sufficient)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Some experience with Philips MRI equipment preferred
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging across general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac modalities
• Proficiency with Philips iSite PACS, document scanning, and Care Logistics software
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO requests are accommodated at the manager's discretion
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
