Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR, ER, and port experience, including complex orthopedic and spinal cases, for a Level 1 facility serving patients of all ages.
Details
- Hospital-based X-Ray unit within a Level 1 trauma center serving patients of all ages
- Procedures include complex orthopedic cases such as femur and tibia nails, pelvis imaging, and advanced spine imaging
- Experience in OR, ER, and port studies required
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule varies; weekend shifts are required
- Call is required with a one-hour response time
- 10-week contract
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification and BLS required
- Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) licensure required; pending license is acceptable but must be obtained prior to start date
- License required if applicable
- Experience in OR, ER, and port procedures required
- Experience with complex cases including femur and tibia nails, pelvis imaging, and advanced spine imaging required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform imaging in the OR, ER, and other clinical areas including ports and complex orthopedic and spine procedures
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
