Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience and proficiency with advanced mechanical circulatory support devices.
Details
- Academic medical center CVICU setting
- Rotating day and night shifts available (3x12-hour shifts)
- Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
- 16-week contract with up to 10 days RTO available per 13-week period, with additional RTO proportionally available based on contract length
- Epic EMR used; prior experience required
Requirements
- Active UT or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU RN experience required
- Hands-on experience with CRRT, Swan-Ganz catheterization, and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) required
- Experience with Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, and ECMO required
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
