Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro IR position at an HCA facility in Webster, TX, requiring at least 1 year of IR/Specials experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Located on the 2nd floor of the Central Tower in a hospital setting with 2 IR Labs
• Unit is staffed with 4 RNs and 4 Techs on day shift; night shift is on-call
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include general IR and Neuro IR
• Imaging equipment includes GE and Siemens systems
• EMR: Meditech
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation of 5 days per month plus 1 weekend per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in IR or Specials
• IR/Specials experience is required — candidates without it will not be considered
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• OR scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• A positive attitude is considered the best personality fit for this unit
