Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a prestigious Harvard Medical School teaching hospital and international center for ophthalmology and otolaryngology treatment in Boston, MA.
Details
- Radiology MRI department at a nationally recognized academic medical center and teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School
- Performs MRI imaging across a broad range of specialty areas including neuro, spine, neurovascular, and head and neck imaging
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted for this location)
- Active MA license required at time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- ARRT (MR) or equivalent MRI certification required
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neurovascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy including common pathologies
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
Additional Information
- Perform MRI exams safely and efficiently in accordance with established clinical protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with Radiologists, Lead Imaging Specialists, and the Associate Director of Radiology to optimize exam quality and patient safety
- Work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public transportation is recommended, and public parking lots are available at approximately $17–$22 per day
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
