Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Works in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital in Golden, CO
• 13-week travel contract
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO state RN license or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
