Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) position on a day shift with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.

- Day shift schedule
- Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) setting within a hospital-based Family Birthing Center
- 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active WA State RN license or compact license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS (Healthcare Provider level, AHA or equivalent) required within 30 days of start
- NRP (AAP Advanced) required prior to end of orientation
- ACLS required within 6 months of start
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required within 3 months of completing L&D training
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with assistance
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform patient care activities for 8–12 hour shifts
Additional Information
- RN functions in dual roles as both direct caregiver and care manager, including delegation, supervision, and coordination of patient care activities
- May be required to serve as Charge Nurse, including patient assignment coordination and staff support
- STABLE course completion within 6 months of completing orientation is encouraged (optional)
- RN-C specialty certification is preferred
- Up to 24 hours of call-off may be scheduled per month by the facility
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
