Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and prior travel assignment history, working night shifts in an adult inpatient setting.

Details

• Adult Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (6 shifts over 6 weeks)
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Adult patient population only; no pediatric patient care expected
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• PALS certification is not required for this role
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
• All time off or scheduling requests must be communicated upfront
• Weekly orientation provided
