Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with circulating experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week contract in Big Spring, TX.

Details

• Operating Room setting at a hospital facility
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts
• On-call required, rotating between 2 RNs (Mon, Tue, Fri–Sun one week; Wed and Thu the following week)
• Call coverage is limited to general surgery and emergency C-sections
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license (currently in hand)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required — this requirement is firm
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Circulating experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Traveler must report to the San Angelo location on the first day before resuming the contract at the Big Spring site
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
