Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in San Antonio, TX, requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification with Texas Medical Board licensure.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based Special Lab Procedures / Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- Procedures include heart catheterization, EP studies, and Interventional Radiology studies
- Biplane imaging suite operation required
- Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call coverage required, including nights and weekends
- Floating within the facility is required per Methodist floating policy
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
- ARRT certification required
- Active Texas Medical Board license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Ability to operate biplane imaging suites
- Ability to take call nights and weekends
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Meditech EMR experience is preferred
- Scrubs are brown or may be provided by the facility
- Hair must be kept covered with an OR cap; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited; body art should be covered when possible
- Nails must be clean and healthy
- One professional reference required for consideration
