Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN (Circulator) with RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP circulating experience for a 13-week travel contract requiring an active VA or Compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Hospital-based Cath Lab (Circulator) position
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:30
- On-call required: 2–3 call shifts per week, including short call and long call (overnight emergency call from 17:30–07:00), with approximately 2 call weekends per 6-week period
- Short call during weekdays runs 17:30–20:00 as backup; if cases are still running, the nurse stays to complete the last case
- Weekend short call covers Saturday and Sunday, 07:00–14:00; long call weekends begin Friday at 17:30 through Sunday
- Must be on-site within 30 minutes of initial page when on long call
- EMR: Epic (CUPID Cath)
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license currently in hand — required for consideration
- Experience as a Cath Lab Circulator required, including RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP circulating experience
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1–Mar 31); medical or religious exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- COVID vaccination verification or qualified exemption required
Additional Information
- Circulator responsibilities in an active Cath Lab environment, including support for RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP procedures
- Hospital provides scrubs
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of application — no RTO will be approved after an offer is extended
- Smoke- and nicotine-free facility
