Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Russellville, AR, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active AR or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a 170-bed, Joint Commission Accredited facility with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and AHA Stroke Program
• Assigned to the Cardiac Cath Lab unit (5–6 beds) serving patients of all ages
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required — minimum 12 days per month (details to be discussed with director)
• Travelers may be asked to assist in the holding room (pre-op) area
• EMR: Meditech
• Equipment includes vital signs monitors, airway management tools, and IV pumps

Requirements

• Active AR RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: ACLS and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Located in Russellville, AR, in the Arkansas River Valley near Lake Dardanelle, Mount Nebo State Park, and renowned bass fishing
