Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care / Stepdown position requiring telemetry experience, Cardizem and Amiodarone drip proficiency, and a minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience.

Details

• Mixed-acuity, 39-bed unit specializing in medical, surgical, and stepdown level of care
• Patient population is primarily elderly but may include adults as young as 18
• Telemetry monitoring required, including Cardizem and Amiodarone drip management
• RN-to-patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
• 12-hour day shifts, 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license (proof of state residency required)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent, equivalent telemetry or stepdown nursing experience
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years
• Proficiency with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips required
• 2 professional references from managers required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• Care for a mixed medical, surgical, and stepdown patient population with telemetry monitoring needs
