Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a hospital in Richmond, KY, performing minimally invasive cardiac procedures with 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab performing minimally invasive procedures including cardiac catheterization, PCI, cardioversion, and TEE
• Serves outpatient, urgent, and emergent cases at an accredited chest pain center with 24/7 multidisciplinary support
• Day shift schedule: 4 x 9-hour shifts (0600–1530), Monday through Friday
• Weekend and holiday on-call coverage is expected
• 13-week contract, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to fulfill on-call duties
• Proficiency with computer systems and clinical applications; willingness to be trained as needed

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cath lab environment supporting 24/7 PCI/STEMI services
• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, procedure support, patient and family education, and discharge coordination
• Candidate must supply MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• Copies of certifications and license verification (NURSYS) required for consideration
• No prior Cath Lab experience is required for this position
